Moving Toward The Ribbon - A Look At Office 2007

Date has Passed

Date: July 8, 2008
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Murray Hall - Room 116
Led By : Doug Varee
Description: While the first impression of MSOffice 2007 appears to be a significant change from MSOffice 2003, experience with the new product shows that users quickly adapt to, and prefer, the new design. The sharing and exchange of documents between Allegheny students, many of whom already have MSOffice 2007, and faculty and administrators have prompted us to start thinking about future adoption of this software. The "MSOffice 2007 Overview" workshop is intended to provide a bird's-eye view of the new MSOffice, discuss major differences between Office 2003 and Office 2007 as well as talk about compatibility issues and the new product design and functionality.
