Mulitmedia Narrative May 17 - 19, 2005

Description

Faculty and technologists from Gettysburg and Allegheny Colleges came together for three days of instruction and project development through the Multimedia Narrative Workshop presented by the Center for Educational Technology, Middlebury VT.

The instruction centered around concepts and methods inspired by the Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkley, California.

The participants developed three minute movies using iMovie to incorporate text, images, video clips, sound, and feed back from fellow participants to tell a story or present an arguement. Project topics ranged from Mesoamerican gods to the to the recent Orange Revolution of the Ukraine.

This workshop is part of CET's Workshops Modules to Go program. brings expert teachers to campus to provide instructional technology workshops to the faculty, technologists, and librarians of member institutions.
